i'd like to clarify something, if you'd listen to me. there's been a grave misunderstanding about the heritage of a mr. justin bieber and if you have a minute, i'll do my best to clear things up.

for starters, we're just as apologetic about that infectious little worm as the american's are about guantanamo bay-- meaning we, as canadian's are not sorry at all that we've unleashed and unspeakable horror onto your radio airwaves. canada does not hold your teenagers libidos in contempt either for fanning the flames of this incredible oversight on canada's part. we should've never allowed youtube.

but that's not the point. we're not communist korea after all.

my issue therein lies with his heritage. yes, he say he's canadian, but we take no responsibility for him, nor his equally enfuriating counterparts nickleback, theory of a dead man or the moffatts. we do take responsibility for that idiot gretzky, although we're not proud about it. we've silently let crosby forget he's canadian because... well... he's just a pretty face, comprende?

the point of the issue i'm trying to make is that yeah, bieber says he's canadian but canada doesn't necessarily go shouting that from the streets.

so let's not point fingers. canada will remain mum about your miley creature being an underage whore, and you, world, will never reference 'bieber' and 'canada' in the same goddamn sentence.

because unlike hockey, tim hortons and a sweet national anthem, we're not proud of bieber.
