2:47 PM ● onions are rarely good

can i just say that i have awakened my hunger for world news?
i have the onion to thank for that, really. i wasn't at all interested in finding out what the world around me was doing until my history professor mentioned we should read the onion, a completely farce-written online paper.

my god i don't think i've laughed this hard at other people's problems since... well... probably since dearest tool had another one of her verbal conundrums in which she ends up looking slightly touched in the head. but i don't always just laugh at her. i laugh at others. but secretly.

articles with titles such as "haiti to put in bid for 2216 olympics" and "recent rise in international disputes traced back to cute u.n tour guide" make me want to read the news. even if it's not true, and is poking fun at nothing, really, i can sink my teeth into this.

i just thought i'd sound off on this. why? i'm still figuring it out. but for now, i have to return to my article about how the air france disaster was caused by a plane crash.
go figure?!
later days
