ALRIGHT.

now, thanks to camille, i've been hopped up on the drug that is gossip sites. usually i go to my favorites, i.e lainey and pop sugar, but tonight i spent most of my waking moments feeding the hungry beast that was threatening to take over.

let me just say, my mental faculty hasn't returned since witnessing the most epicly anticipated of all movie trailers on sunday so right now, gossip blogs are pretty much fuelling my reason to live at the moment. let me tell you, stringing these sentences together is immensely difficult.

anyways, back to my current stream of thought.

so i stumbled across this posting on pop sugar about said delicious robert pattinson leaving the same hotel as a miss kristen stewart. SPECULATIONS ABOUND.

here's what i think.

everyone in the twi-universe heard that there was some weird ass contract that everyone had to sign stating that "i will not bone a co-worker UNLESS it makes the crazy twilighters believe more fervently (read: crazily obsessive)". so, for those who aren't in the know, say, if peter facinelli was to divorce jenny garth and elizabeth reaser was to get rid of her hubby, they could feasibly hook up and not get slapped on the wrist from summit.

NOW. there are some other factors to add into this brew of ridiculousness:
step one: where in the hell was nikki reed at the mtv movie awards? jackson wasn't there because he was with 100monkeys. EXCUSE ACCEPTED. nikki's? DENIED. sources cite that she said she was on holiday and couldn't make it into the awards.
i think there's bad blood between her and summit at the moment for putting a halt to her boning of rob. not that i think that happened either.
but on the other hand, if it did happen and they were boning and summit told her to butt the fuck out and now kristen is all up in that... nikki would be mad, right? kristen and nikki were like, bffs were they not?
nikki also didn't go to italy like she said she was. well, maybe she did an no one cared.

i digress.

step two: if you were in the fish bowl constantly, wouldn't you naturally gravitate to those who are in your similar situation? this is high stress movie making and promoting. these fans are absoutely fucking insane with the fervent amount of devotion they pour into everything. i'm sure girls faint and cry when they see a twilight cast member. think beatles, but with cooler haircuts lol.
i know that if i spend a lot of time with someone, and particularly if my job description had me kissing this person often, it would look like we were more than co-workers for sure.
so really, when you think about it that way (not to mention adding the fact that when you're shooting these films with that kind of fan following it's difficult to do basic stuff during the day. you're recognizable. hence why they weren't allowed to leave the hotel unless it was for meals and filming) it just seems like they're doing their jobs.

now, with that said and over with my verdict:

i think that twilighters around the world should hold judgement before they jump to conclusions. think about it logically. it's their job. i for one don't think rob and kristen are boning. she loves that dude who was jack's son... and rob needs to be a lady killer. it's the natural order of things.

but it's also whatever... because it's not like i could stop them if i tried. what do you think?
